IT ALL STARTED WITH ADAM AND EVE.
In the beginning was the Word. The Word was love. And love made the first folk art people Adam
and Eve to be born. Thanks to them, we may today pique ourselves with all the most beautiful
things, with all what activates movements that rejuvenate, with all the affection reflected in
songs, in hearts made of gingebread or in the melancholic tunes of the violin. Adam and Eve
have disclosed to us where the actual secret of folk arts is hidden: deep in ourselves.

We are extremely pleased by your visit to our www pages. We can assure you that since this
very moment you´ll be captured by the nets of our witchcraft: aiming at not only gaining but
also keeping your favor, we shall be using all the drinks of love, the magic to make you love,
and we even won´t be afraid of using the erotic wizardry of the old fairy tale witch.
We would like to use these pages to meet both our and your expectations. We´ll be here for all
those who dream of getting back to nature, to real beauty, to the elementary bases of life;
for all those who profess real values and participate in the maintaining of the heritage of a
million years of immaculate development of folk arts.
We offer you the opportunity to look into the pot of a leading University ensemble of folk art,
and we shall also take a minute to speak about the folk culture in Slovakia.
We love to meet new faces - if we do´nt know each other, there it is: a unique opportunity to
make friends. We shall tell you, dear friend, some bits of our interesting history, of the
present times bursting with youth, and also something of the near future. We would appreciate
seeing you sharing our pleasures and sadness, sharing with us your ideas, thoughts, observations

In our opinion, the charm of the folk arts is in that they cannot be made without emotions. And
to be able to get involved, we have to have pleasure and sorrow together, we have to convince
ourselves and others that what we are about to do is to present love to each other, love of the
most exciting kind. While coming across these pages, it will be pleasant to you to imagine all
the commotion at the backstage during the preparation of a performance. Many a dance or song
has to be redone, several times, because Kathy, Susan or Mary do not like their tune, a step or
the angle of view. Andy and Andrew cannot make up their minds, which one of the girls would be
worth of a sin, Kathy, Mary or all the three? To do something more, to work hard on the dance,
or to wrap up the circus and to go for a beer? As you see, we are rather busy here, and plan to
work hard, prior to go for the beer, to be even better.
